Nissin Instant Soba

This is one of the great tasting instant soba I had in Japan, and am missing it so much that I am willing to pay much more to eat it again in Singapore. It comes in 2 sizes. I bought the bigger one because the price difference is less than a dollar. It cost about $4.30 in Meidi-ya (Liang Court).

Instructions on how to prepare the soba to achieve the ultimate taste:

  1. Add the packet of powder into the noodles.
  2. Add hot water, cover the noodles and let it sit for a few minutes.
  3. When the noodles are soft and ready to be eaten, put in the crispy piece. It dissolves and turn soft quite quickly, so add in bit by bit if you do not like it to be too soft.

The crispy piece does add color to the bowl of soba. The soup base is not too strong, just nice for a pleasant taste. [8/10]
